Michale Jultak Floral Designs is a traditional company with a modern twist.
A family business since 1947, Michael Jultak Floral Designs has been serving the Denver area with high-quality flowers, from having a traditional store front to now a modern online-based company.
Current owner, Skip, got started in the family business when he was just 16 years old.
“I was a delivery driver for my father when I was 16, and every time I went up to the door people would just cry or smile, just really have a great emotion when I dropped them off,” Jultak said.
It began a career of creativity that he never thought would lead back to the floral business. He went to culinary school, but came back to the family business and began taking calls on a very special day—Valentine’s Day.
“I enjoyed answering the phone and talking to people,” Jultak said.
And he realized that not only could he be creative and talk with people, he was selling more than flowers, but an emotion.
“My father always said we don’t sell flowers, we sell sentiment,” Jultak said. “A lot of people can’t show their emotions, so they send flowers.”
From private parties, weddings, funerals, acts of love to the Denver Police Officers Foundation annual memorial, Michael Jultak Floral Designs does it all, and on short order.
Because it’s an internet based company, most orders are delivered within 2-4 hours. The tropicals, Jultak’s favorites, are jetted in fresh from Hawaii weekly, and provide a brighter, more unique and longer lasting arrangement. His business is truly world-wide.
